Xmas Live x The K’s

by Olivia Mannix

Christmas has come early with the return of our Xmas Live campaign, and we are buzzing for it! This year everything is a little bit different, but we want to keep the spirits high and bring the live music we’ve all missed so much this year, straight to you. Xmas Live, if this is new to you, is about rounding up some top-notch acts to take to the stage once again and bless us with their musical talent. This week we are joined by Earlestown’s finest, The K’s.

Since the band came together, these four young men have become an underground success, with no sign of their triumph slowing down. The K’s – Jamie Boyle, Ryan Breslin, Dexter Baker and Chris Holleran – have been lighting up the UK music scene since 2016. With a stack of sold out shows and plenty of unmissable singles under their belt, we are sure that the band are going to throw plenty of surprises our way. Here at scotts, we simply can’t get enough of their incredible tunes and captivating personalities.

Between them, The K’s have been on stage with the likes of The Who, The Killers, Aerosmith and more. This would explain why their tunes are so creative and incredibly catchy. It’s no secret that lockdown hasn’t stopped the boys churning out some absolute bangers. Their latest single, ‘TV’ (sponsored by scotts, actually) was released back in September and has been an instant hit with fans. It’s clear that The K’s are going to keep growing – a cult sensation ready to blossom in the mainstream. We are made up to have them involved in our Xmas Live campaign and we are telling you now, their exclusive performance was spectacular!

The band took to the stage wearing some of the latest garms from Pretty Green. Founded by Liam Gallagher, back in 2009 Pretty Green is a must-have menswear brand that draws inspiration from the art, music and popular culture from the ‘60s. The K’s donned fresh clothing and footwear for the Christmas season, as they performed two smashing tracks; unreleased song ‘Hoping Maybe’ and latest single ‘TV’.

Next year, we are hoping to see the boys grace The Leadmill and plenty of other venues across the UK. Big things are coming for The K’s and we can’t wait to follow them on their journey.
