King Kartel find the perfect time to release their latest single “Be Mine” as Valentine’s Day approaches.

‘Be Mine’ is something fairly different to what we have seen from the lads in the past. Not only is the track catchy and upbeat, keeping in touch with the lads’ well-known indie/rock style, but it’s also filled with much more of a soft melody, with beautiful vocals and light guitar riffs. Don’t get me wrong, lead-singer Hugh McCreesh’s voice is as equally as powerful every time he takes to the mic, but it seems he’s digging deep into himself to pull something pretty special out with this track.

As soon you lose yourself in the heartfelt lyrics, the powerful and electrifying guitar riffs brings you right back to the true identity of King Kartel; the rock sensation you feel as you close your eyes and imagine yourself front row at one of their live shows.

The band is formed of three Newry lads; Hugh, Mo and Micky, one Mancunion; Joey and one lad from St Helens; Mike, and each bring something refreshing and unique to the table, merging their talents to form one special sound in each track they produce. They have already accumulated an impressive list of top class records and were named as Radio X’s ‘Refreshing Sound’ winners in 2015 and on This Feeling’s ‘Big in 2019’ list.

In celebration of their latest track, the band will play a single launch party at Manchester’s Club Academy on 6th March.

Get your tickets now, it’s going to be a sell out!
