Our Xmas Live campaign will be dropping very soon, but before it does, we thought we’d give you a little insight of what it’s all about. You may have seen a few social teasers over the past three weeks of our exclusive guest list only events, and you were right in what you thought, it looks epic. And it was.

‘Xmas Live’ saw us getting up close and personal with four top musicians; The Sherlocks, Aystar, Berna and last but not least, Liverpool legend Miles Kane.

To kick off the campaign, The Sherlocks took over Sheffields Maida Vale for an intimate performance for a packed out and enthusiastic crowd. First though, we kitted them out in their favourite gear from our new season top picks. Had to have them looking their best in their hometown didn’t we?

Supporting, we had Indie rock band hailing from Sheffield, The Rosadocs, who put on an electric performance which got the crowd going. It’s clear that these lads have a big following by the energy that filled the venue. A night to remember for many of us, for sure.

Next up we mixed it up a bit by throwing top rappers Aystar and Berna into the mix. We took the guys to Manchester’s Brickworks to give their fans a top intimate performance that they’ll never forget. The dark grungy underground venue was the perfect setting for such an event. The battle commenced between the two rapper / grime artists and continued into the night, and the crowd loved it – the sea of bouncing heads, phones lights beaming through the dark space and the sound echoing around the packed out Brickworks proved that. Overall, number two out of three Xmas Lives was a total success.

Last week, Liverpool saw the final Xmas Live event, bringing the epic tour to a close. The legendary Miles Kane put on a stellar performance at The Zanzibar Club – one of Liverpool’s hottest live music spots. The venue was buzzing as everyone grabbed a drink, found a spot and soaked up the atmosphere as we waited for the support to step on stage.

The night began with a set from The Illicits, a 4-piece Indie Rock band from Blackburn, who well and truly pack a punch with their infectious guitar riffs and mega vocals. These guys performed an incredible set which included original tunes and an impressive cover of ‘Born Slippy’ by Underworld. By the end of the set, the crowd was ready and raring to go for the arrival of Miles Kane.

The lights were dimmed, the crowd went silent and then roared as we caught the first glimpse of Miles. The Mersey-born star, walked through the crowd, shaking hands as everyone chanted to celebrate his arrival. Dressed in Fred Perry, the prolific artist took to the stage with his band and welcomed everyone who had joined us to celebrate Xmas Live. Opening the show with ‘Coup De Grace’, the crowd went crazy for the absolute belter which expresses Miles’ love for wrestling. He performed a stunning collection of his best tunes taken from his past 3 solo albums. The show ended with ‘Don’t Forget Who You Are’ and with a sea of phones in the air, fans came together and sang along to end the show. The event was a success and we had a top night in Liverpool showcasing our Xmas Live campaign.
