The Nike Air Max 90 OG Makes A Comeback

by Jacob Peatfield

As we celebrate 30 years of the OG Air Max 90, Nike bring back the original style with a little refresh to keep your footwear collection happy. Introducing the fresh Original Air Max 90, available on scotts.

It’s the trainer that defined a generation and introduced air tech to the masses. The Air Max 90, originally known as the Air Max III, was introduced thirty years ago by legendary Nike designer Tinker Hatfield. Boasting bright colourways which were different to anything on the market at the time, the shoe was an instant success.

The trademark see-through sole with Nike-Air cushioning is something we see all over nowadays in Nike’s footwear range. Back then though, the Air Max 90 was the first to make the technology visible to everybody.  This showed how Nike were a step ahead of the competition in terms of cushioning, padding and comfort.

Even though the classic Infrared colourway is arguably the most famous, many Air Max 90 colourways are now sought after in the sneaker community. This week, Nike are treating us to a re-releases of a classic colourway for the shoe’s 30th anniversary.

We’ve been lucky enough to receive the Blue Air Max 90 at scotts. This trainer has a base of black, grey and white tones with overlays of electric blue. The shoe also features mesh uppers, toggle laces, embroidered branding, the max air unit with a rubber outsole to finish. This is the real deal.

Don’t mess around, this one is going to fly off the shelves.

If blue isn’t your thing, we’ve got the classic all white and all black Air Max 90s for you here. You can’t go wrong lads.
