Reyt Good Magazine: Down The Boozer With Children Of The State

by Olivia Mannix

Lockdown is back, but that is not going to dampen our spirits. Our partnership with Sheffield’s Reyt Good Magazine continues and we are buzzing to share the latest interview from RGM’s Down The Boozer series.

In this episode, John and Nathan from Children Of The State joined Carl at the Rose and Monkey Hotel in Manchester’s Northern Quarter. Made up of John McCullagh, Nathan Keeble, Corey Clifton, Conor O’Reilly and Harry Eland, Children Of The State perfectly blend of ’70s glam rock, ’60s nostalgia and electronica into their music. We have seen them at countless festivals, as well as supporting the likes of Temples and The Mysterines.

Wearing some fresh Fred Perry garms, the lads talk us through their love for live music and cancelled 2020 gigs. We hear about their festival plans, doing things their way and their relationship as a band. Check it out!

(Disclaimer: This episode was filmed before lockdown began and social distancing was maintained at all times)
