Every time Nike releases a new Air Max you can be sure something special is happening. Well, the Air Max 720 is no different.

Following the release of the Vapormax a couple of years back and the Air Max 270 it became clear the mission for Air Max was to truly live up to its name; Maximum air in every shoe. And so began the quest to add more and more visible air to the sole units of each shoe (needless to say we admire Nike’s ambition). Now though, the fruits of the brand’s labours are finally here in the shape of the Air Max 720. So let’s get stuck in.

The 720 is taking up the mantle. Boasting the largest amount of visible air ever as well as the tallest air unit ever in a Nike trainer, the 720’s sole sits at 38mm high in comparison to its predecessors 32mm, the 720 is an ode to comfort. Slap one on and you’ll feel like you’re wearing a cloud. Not bad, eh?

And if the comfort thing isn’t enough for you, Nike have hopped on the saving the planet hype for this release as well. The midsole is manufactured from 75% recycled materials. That’s a pretty big move for Nike as they look to do their bit for the environment.

It’s a revolutionary design in the realm of lifestyle footwear. Nike are once again breaking in to new territory with the way they approach product design. We dig it. Do you?

The Air Max 720 is available now in two colourways. Click here to grab yourself a pair.
