Fantasy Football: Stars Of The Show

by Olivia Mannix

After a bit of a dip over the past couple of weeks, we are now feeling spoilt for choice with stellar players to draft into our Fantasy Premier League. Gameweek 11 has been a spectacular week and we have seen a number of big-hitters that have brought in plenty of points. Here are some of our stars from the season so far…

Tottenham’s Hottest Pair

The top-scoring players for Gameweek 11 have been Son Heung-min (£9.5m) and Harry Kane (£10.9m). During their game against Arsenal on Sunday, the pair continued their prolific campaigns with a goal and an assist, as Tottenham Hotspur won 2-0. Son is a player that you need in your team, as he has bagged six double-figure hauls so far this season. Or why not opt for Harry Kane? Who has an outstanding total of 98 points so far in the 20/21 campaign.

You’ll Never Walk Alone

Last week, we saw a lucky bunch of Liverpool fans back at Anfield and we are buzzing to see a bit of normality! The players did not disappoint their fans with a 4-0 win against Wolves. In Gameweek 11, Mohamed Salah (£12.2m) recorded his highest total since Gameweek 1 with a goal, an assist and a pleasing total of 14 points. Again, Salah is a great option for your team – expensive but totally worth it. We reckon the Egyptian is scheduled to deliver huge hauls in the coming weeks.

Over Before It Began

Another dynamite duo were Man City’s Kevin De Bruyne (£11.8m) and Raheem Sterling (£11.4m). The pair stepped up their game and felt right at home, as they managed to slot 2 first-half goals into the net. It felt as though Fulham were left behind, as Man City turned up the heat of their attack and showed them who’s boss. Thanks to their recent success, City are climbing the table and now sit in 5th place. We think it would be wise to get one of these incredible players in your team.

Who will you be putting in your team for Gameweek 12?
