Ole is gone!!! After another poor performance in 4-1 loss to Watford, Ole lives finally ran out as the board came to a decision in an emergency meeting last night to let the Norwegian go. The news broke after Solskjaer gave an exclusive interview for MUTV where he explained he was let go due to the poor run of form and told us that Micheal Carrick will replace him as interim manager. Man United have already been linked with several high profile managers including Zinedine Zidane, Mauricio Pochettino, Brendan Rodger and the one and only Steve Bruce! But our money is on Neil Warnock.

Elsewhere in the league the excitement didn’t end as the top 3 teams put on a show to hammer their opponents and state their case as title contenders. Liverpool beat a bewildered Arsenal 4-0, Chelsea beat Leicester at home 3-0 and Man City dominated Everton in 3-0 at home. It really was a good weekend for neturals as Newcastle vs Brentford and Burnley vs Crystal palace both produced 3-3 thrillers. Conte continued his good start as Spur came from behind to beat Leeds 2-1 to give Conte his first win at home. Wolves ended West Ham’s win streak in 1-0 win, meaning that Liverpool retook 3rd place in the table. The last headline from the weekend’s action comes from the canaries who followed up their first win of the season with another, beating Southampton 2-1 giving them hope of staying in the league.

Now let’s look ahead at next weekend’s game and discuss who are the players you need to consider for your team.

Emmanuel Dennis (£5.2m)

One person not to sleep on is Emmanuel Dennis as he is averaging a goal or assist every 93 minutes this season which is the fourth-best ratio of any player with over 500 minutes played. Watford take on Leicester this weekend who haven’t had the best form recently and we think they might be an upset, perfect for Dennis to capitalise. So far this season Dennis has 4 goals and 5 assists and for £5.2m he’s a great bargain.

N’Golo Kanté (£4.9m)

No matter who you support, you can’t deny you don’t enjoy watching Kanté play the beautiful game. For someone who is so quiet off the pitch he definitely does all his talking on it and in the game against Leicester he was heard. If you had to criticise one aspect of Kanté it would be that he doesn’t get forward and score enough goals but his second goal of the campaign more than proved he has the ability. Chelsea’s next game is against a struggling Man Utd side and they were convincingly beaten by the other title contenders. We can see the Chelsea Vs Man Utd game following the same pattern. With that being said Tuchel now has witnessed himself of Kanté scoring ability so don’t be surprised if he encourages the frenchmen to go further forward against Man Utd. For £4.9m he is bargain as if he doesn’t score you know he will get a clean sheet bonus.

Teemu Pukki (£5.8m)

After a terrible start to the season Norwich now are on a 2 win streak and are just 3 points of safety. In both wins there was a common theme which was Teemu Pukki stepping up and scoring for his team. Many of us know Pukki and many regard him as a good finisher from the way he entered the league, scoring 11 goals in the 2019-20 season. Now Dean Smith has revitalised the team we can see their win streak continue with Pukki being their main man to save them from relegation. One thing you need to stay in the league is goals and goals = points!

Maxwel Cornet (£6.1m)

Maxwel Cornet has turned into a surprise goal scorer for Burnley with 5 goals in 6 starts and all from just 10 shots. He wasn’t getting much game time at the start of the season but Sean Dyche now sees his ability and his great link up with Chris Wood resulting in Cornet now playing the majority of the 90. If you’re looking for a cheap, inform goalscorer then look no further.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£9.9m)

Hear us out we know, we know for Aubameyang’s price 4 goals in 12 isn’t a great return but Arsenal are due to play Newcastle this weekend at home and after receiving 4-0 thrashing from Liverpool Arteta will be keen to make things right and get the team back on track so playing Newcatle has come at the perfect time for the Gunners. We expect Arsenal to put on a show this weekend and one man that can benefit is Aubameyang who we think will score a brace.
