Fantasy Football Scout Report

by Chris Balding

With Season ending on the 22nd of May it’s time to employ any boosts you have left to ensure you’re getting the maximum points you can before it’s over.

With just a glance at the table you can see why the premier league is the best domestic competition in the world. At the top Man City and Liverpool have put on dominant displays as they battle for the title with just 1 point separating one another. Below the battle for a place in Europe is reaching boiling point as Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal and Manchester United are competing for the all important 3rd and 4th place. Slightly below them West Ham, Wolves, Brighton, Newcastle and Leicester could all reach the Europa League places in the table. With Watford and Norwich guaranteed to go down you’d think that the majority of the teams in the lower half of the table are safe but you would be wrong. Only 8 points currently separate 13th and 19th place meaning that many fans will be crossing their fingers and toes till the end of the season.

Now onto our picks for your fantasy team, don’t be surprised if there’s a few City and Liverpool players.

Kevin De Bruyne (£11.9m)

With City dramatically dropping out of the Champions League, Pep’s team will be focussed on securing the title to make up for failing in Europe again. One man who has been pulling the strings for City is KDB who had a relatively slow start to the season but is now back to his very best. We are sure he’ll keep City ticking as they will need to win every game left to beat Liverpool to the title.

Gabriel Jesus (£8.6m)

This guy is in some seriously good form for City, he’s been banging in goals for fun both in league and Europe. In the prem he has 5 goals in his last two games. Expect this form to continue as there are transfer rumours he will leave so he’ll want to earn that £££!.

Mohammed Salah (£13.3m)

What else is there to say about this man. In our opinion he is the best player in the world and we can’t see him matchup against his main rival for the Ballon d’or, Benzema. But anyway back to the prem, even though Salah hasn’t scored in his last two matches we’re sure he’ll match the occasion as they play an inform Spurs team, so he’ll have to be at his best to come away with all 3 points.

Sadio Mané (£11.8m)

Salah’s partner in crime, Mane has already tasted success as he beat his aforementioned team mate to lift the African Cup of Nations trophy. If Liverpool are going to win every game left then Mane will have to step up and show everyone why Liverpool have the best attackers in the world.

Richarlison (£7.5m)

The Brazilian hasn’t had the best season with strugglers Everton but in the latter part of the season he’s started to come up top trumps scoring vital goals for the toffees. If you can look past his brooding exterior then you will see this guy has serious talent and with the right motivation & management he will carry on getting important goals and hopefully help Everton avoid the drop.
