Fantasy Football Scout Report

by Chris Balding

After last week’s round of the Prem game we now move into the last stretch making each more important than the last.

We start off at the bottom of the table as Norwich and Burnley both lose their respective matches while Watford manage a great win against Everton. Watford sit just one place under Everton and now are equal on points. Everton have never been relegated from the Premier League but this season they are on thin ice.

Ronaldo showed the world he is still capable of being the main man as he scored an impressive hattrick against Spurs. NFL GOAT, Tom Brady came to Old Trafford to watch the match and after seeing an ageing Ronaldo still produce the good it influenced him to come out of retirement.

Arsenal have well and truly turned a corner as they pulled out an impressive winning streak only to be out gunned by second place Liverpool, showing the Gunners still have some work to do to break into the top 3. Liverpool are just 1 off league leaders City, pushing Pep’s team all the way.

Andriy Yarmolenko broke into tears as he scored the first goal of the game, reflecting on his home country’s struggles while the crowd gave him a standing ovation. The game finished 2-1 to West Ham.

Now onto the players that you should have your eye on for your Fantasy Football team.

Ivan Toney (£6.6m)

After an injury sidelined him from the action and some off the field comments landed the striker in hot water it hasn’t seemed to affect his game at all. Scoring 5 goals in his last two games Toney definitely has an eye for goal and with that form he should be making it into your fantasy team.

Joel Matip (£4.9m)

His centre back partner might get all the plaudits but without Matip the Liverpool defence would be struggling as Liverpool won 73% of the Premier League games in which Matip played. He might not have many assists or goals but for £4.9m he’s a bargain who will earn your team clean sheets.

Kai Havertz (£7.8m)

We all know that Chelsea are having off the field problems regarding their former owner. With how it is turning out Chelsea may have to sell a few of their players to survive and one player who they want to hold onto is Kai Havertz. The young German hasn’t featured in many Prem games this season but he managed to play the full 90 in Chelsea’s last 4 games. In those games he showed why he came to Stamford Bridge with such a big price tag, he scored 4 goals and provided an assist showing he is now ready for all the challenges the league provides.

Christian Eriksen (£5.5m)

His story is inspirational coming back from a life threatening condition to now play back in the top flight of English football. He has already shown the club his class as he is now a key first team player. In his last game he linked up with Toney to provide him with an assist. With both players in form Eriksen could be a cheap buy for your team.

Cristiano Ronaldo (£12.2m)

After many of us ruled him out for not being like his former self he goes on to quiet all his critics with a sensational hattrick at the weekend. Man United play Leicester, Everton and Norwich in their next 3 games which is an opportunity to squeeze back into the top 4. But for them to be successful Ronaldo needs to keep on scoring the important goals and with his CV we have no doubt in his ability.
