Fantasy Football: Ones To Watch Week 7

by Olivia Mannix

Let’s be honest, last week was tough! Well it was for us anyway… In Gameweek 6 we saw Liverpool catch up with Everton on the League Table, as well as some surprising goals and interesting wins. So, how is your Fantasy Football team looking? Whatever your score, we’ve got you some recommendations for your team this week.

Kevin De Bruyne – MANCHESTER CITY – Midfielder, £11.5m

It’s no secret that Kevin De Bruyne has had a bit of a slow start to the season. After his absence in Gameweek 5, many managers in the Fantasy Football league said goodbye to the midfielder. However, we think he can definitely rival the likes of Son and Salah as he returns to the pitch. With City playing Sheffield United this week, we reckon De Bruyne can definitely score some goals. So, take a chance on De Bruyne, boost your team and bag some points.

Wilfried Zaha – CRYSTAL PALACE – Midfielder, £7.1m

The Crystal Palace attacker has been performing well over these past few weeks. Crystal Palace got back in the game last week, beating Fulham 2-1, with Zaha bagging a very respectable 13 points. The upcoming games are looking pretty good for Crystal Palace, and we think Zaha could get your points stacking up.

Ben Chilwell – CHELSEA – Defender, £5.8m

This guy has really impressed us this season. What a start to his FPL career, eh? Chilwell has smashed it, providing us with 1 goal, 2 assists and 2 clean sheets so far this season. This is a player that creates chances and as we know, chances are so important in the beautiful game. We are sure Chilwell will stand out again this week as Chelsea play Burnley. With his clean sheet potential and impressive attack, Ben Chilwell is likely to give your points a boost this week.

Sadio Mané – LIVERPOOL – Midfielder, £12.0m

Spice up Gameweek 7 with an appearance from Mané. The midfielder has had a strong start to the new campaign and we think he’s got a lot more in him. With a current total of 39 points, Mané has scored some absolute corkers against the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Everton this season. As Liverpool play at home against West Ham United, we think the team will excel. The Senegalese has a top notch home-game record, so we think he is a must-have in your team this week.

Heung Min Son – SPURS – Midfielder,  £9.5m

After a wobbly start to the season, Son has really stepped up his game over the past couple of weeks. As the player continues to richly reward FPL managers, we reckon he is going to provide plenty of chances against Brigthon this week. Spurs are performing well, and partnered with Harry Kane again this week, could mean they could become unstoppable. We think Son could be a strong signing for your squad, so make sure you bag him for some easy points.
