Fantasy Football: The Biggest Double Gameweek Of 2020/21 So Far

by Olivia Mannix

Can you believe it? Another Double Gameweek is about to take place and it is going to be a good’n. The Premier League has been full of plenty of twists and turns – tactics have gone out the window, mistakes have been made, we’ve been surprised and we’ve been caught off guard. So, where are you currently sitting in the league, and what is your approach for the week ahead? Here are some of our one’s to watch for Gameweek 26.

Bruno Fernandes – MANCHESTER UNITED – Midfielder, £11.6m

United’s Portuguese magnifico had big boots to fill following on from the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo. But over the past few weeks, United’s talisman has been getting the fans excited. He’s been pretty consistent and we think his incredible goal streak will be extended.

Riyad Mahrez – MANCHESTER CITY – Forward, £8.1m

This Man City winger seems to be getting better each week. During the past few Gameweeks, he has managed to give his team a good boost up the Premier League table. Going into the Double Gameweek, we think Mahrez has the potential to bring some more magic to the pitch.

Mohamed Salah – LIVERPOOL – Forward, £12.6m

Liverpool’s Egyptian King has recently won the Budweiser Goal of the Month, following on from his counter-attacking goal at West Ham. After a disappointing couple of weeks, Salah seems to be back on form and we are expecting big things this week

Harvey Barnes – LEICESTER CITY – Midfielder, £11.6m

Harvey Barnes could be the most dangerous wide man in the Prem. He has consistently terrorised defences with his pace, skill and ability with both feet. His form has been pretty impressive and we think fans are in for a treat this Double Gameweek.

Mbaye Diagne – WEST BROMWICH ALBION – Forward, £6m

We are getting a positive vibe from this player. Diagne has been part of a new formula for West Brom and since arriving on loan from Galatasaray, he has made an instant impact. The striker’s form has been quality and we can’t wait to see his performances this week.
